HOW TO MAKE

The first step in making a pattern with this grid book is to determine how many squares the height of the letters we want, for example, five squares, and how many squares for the width, for example, three squares. Next, we can make a pattern by making a cross (x) using a pencil.

Before starting, there is an important thing that you must understand, for the height, the alphabet must be in five squares so they are uniform, while the width depends on the alphabet because they can be in just three squares or more.

It is so easy to make the alphabet, right? Next, we will make the letter G. As I mentioned above, some alphabets can not only have a width of 3 squares like G. In this pattern, the width of the letter G is four squares.

Unlike the letter G which has a width of more than three squares, the letter I only requires one box.

The letter M requires a width of five squares, while the letter N requires a width of four squares.

Other letters that are more than three squares wide are Q and W.
