All the patterns have easy designs for beginners. Since we’re from Indonesia, we’ll include some greetings in Indonesian.

Besides the greetings, there are also ketupat ornaments, a traditional Indonesian food for Eid al-Fitr. Ketupat is a dish made from rice wrapped in woven young coconut leaves.

These 20 patterns are divided into two editions, each consisting of 10 patterns. The difficulty level for all patterns is beginner.

Choose a pattern you like. If you like several patterns, make a list and start with the easiest pattern and the one with the fewest yarn colors.

You don’t have to have the same yarn color as the pattern. Adapt it to the yarn you have or the colors you like.

Start embroidering from the center point of the pattern and then work your way outwards.

Most of the patterns in this article are yellow. This first edition uses between 2 and 4 yarn colors.

The pattern design is simple, so you’ll quickly complete this Eid card project.

This pattern design is in the form of an EID MUBARAK greeting with the letters E, I, D inside the lantern. This pattern consists of 3 colors

This pattern design is in the form of the words “MET LEBARAN” decorated with dark green and light green lines. The greeting MET LEBARAN in Indonesian means HAPPY EID. This pattern consists of 4 colors.

This pattern design is in the form of the words “HAPPY EID MUBARAK” which is framed with decorative stripes in dark green and light green. This pattern consists of 4 colors.

This pattern design is in the form of the words “SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI” with yellow and orange decoration. The greeting SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI in Indonesian means HAPPY EID AL-FITR. This pattern consists of 3 colors.

This pattern design is in the form of the words “MINAL AIDZIN WAL FAIDZIN” decorated with wavy lines. This pattern consists of 4 colors.

The reason we chose MAAFIN AKU YA is because the Eid al-Fitr celebration in Indonesia is a moment to forgive each other. We visit the homes of relatives and friends to forgive each other. This pattern design is in the form of saying “SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI” with a bouquet of blue roses.  The greeting SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI in Indonesian means HAPPY EID AL-FITR. This pattern consists of 5 colors.

The design of this pattern is in the form of a ketupat with the words “MOHON MAAF LAHIR DAN BATIN”. In Indonesia, the greeting MOHON MAAF LAHIR DAN BATIN is widely used to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. MOHON MAAF LAHIR DAN BATIN in Indonesian which means sorry. This pattern consists of 3 colors.

This pattern design is in the form of saying “SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI” framed with flowers and leaves.  The greeting SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI in Indonesian means HAPPY EID AL-FITR. This pattern consists of 9 colors.
 

The design of this pattern is in the form of  the words “MOHON MAAF LAHIR DAN BATIN”. In Indonesia, the greeting MOHON MAAF LAHIR DAN BATIN is widely used to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. MOHON MAAF LAHIR DAN BATIN in Indonesian which means sorry. This pattern consists of 3 colors.

This pattern design is in the form of two jars containing cakes in the shape of letters with the words HAPPY EID MUBARAK. This pattern consists of 6 colors.

This pattern design is in the form of saying “SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI” with a bedug next to it.  The greeting SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI in Indonesian means HAPPY EID AL-FITR. This pattern consists of 3 colors.

This pattern design is in the form of saying HAPPY EID MUBARAK with ketupat and bedug. This pattern consists of 6 colors.
 

This pattern design is in the form of saying “SELAMAT HARI LEBARAN”decorated with yellow and gray lines.  The greeting SELAMAT HARI LEBARAN in Indonesian means HAPPY EID AL-FITR. This pattern consists of 3 colors.

We’ll share a sample of three cross stitch Eid cards from the pattern collection in this article, so you can see what these patterns would look like when we made Eid cards.
