Hello, welcome back to our blog. In the previous article, we shared 10 Eid Mubarak Card Cross Stitch Patterns which you can download for free here. In this article, we will share two Eid Mubarak Card Cross Stitch projects.
Giving Eid cards to relatives and friends is one of the traditions carried out during Eid. This year, maybe you want to give a special card made by yourself from cross stitch embroidery. If yes, this article is for you. Let’s go straight to the first project.
THE FIRST EID CARD PROJECT
This first Eid card design is in the form of the words “HAPPY EID MUBARAK” which is framed with decorative stripes in dark green and light green. This green color is inspired by the color of ketupat. Ketupat is a typical Indonesian food that is often served during Eid al-Fitr. This food is made from rice.
If you have never heard of ketupat and are curious about what it looks like, you can see the photo below.
Ketupat (Indonesian food)
This first project is a little different from our other projects, because the finished cross stitch embroidery results are not the same as the sketches we made. You can see the sketch below.
sketch
This pattern consists of 4 colors. You can download this Eid card cross stitch pattern for free here. The pattern code is CPEM0003. The pattern you download is in jpg format.
After you download the pattern, the next step you have to do is prepare the tools and materials. Please read here for the cross stitch kit article.
As we have said above, the sketch and finished cross stitch are not the same, this is because when we made the pattern the number of squares available was not enough to make the letters in a slanted position like in the sketch so we decided to make them in a straight position. The result is no less beautiful than the sketch, if you don’t believe it, please see some photos of our first cross stitch project.
