HOW TO MAKE FRIDGE MAGNET FROM CROSS STITCH

Hello, welcome back to our blog. In the previous article, we will share Lantern Cross Stitch Projects which you can read here. For this article we will share tutorial How to Make Fridge Magnet from Cross Stitch.

Decorating your home with cross stitch embroidery can beautify your home. Cross stitch embroidery decorations can not only be displayed in frames, but you can apply them to certain items. Previously we have made a book cover with cross stitch embroidery that you can read here.

This project is to make a fridge magnet from cross stitch embroidery. The design of this fridge magnet is the word RAMADAN with each letter embroidered and then made into a fridge magnet. We made this letter pattern with grid paper. Please read here to learn more about the alphabet grid paper pattern.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS

Materials and tools used to make fridge magnets :

  • Alphabet cross stitch pattern
  • 7 cross stitch fabric 3,5×3,5 cm
  • 7 manila paper with diameter of 2,5 cm
  • 7 flannel with diameter of 2,5 cm
  • 7 magnets
  • Needle
  • Wool yarn
  • Glue gun

Here are some pictures of the finished fridge magnets. We used them to stick Ramadan related items such as prayers for breaking the fast, fasting intentions, and cooking recipes.
