VEHICLE CROSS STITCH PATTERNS

Hi, welcome back to our blog. This time we will share four vehicle cross stitch patterns. Meanwhile, in the previous edition we published two cactus cross stitch embroidery projects which you can read here.

This edition of the cross stitch pattern is slightly different from the cross stitch pattern that we shared previously. We didn’t draw the sketch of the vehicle but our nephew did.

He would often watch us draw and turn them into cross stitch patterns. Since he also likes to draw, we offered him to draw something and turn it into a cross stitch pattern. He liked the idea and immediately took out paper to draw.

He drew 4 vehicle, namely planes, cars, trains and ships. Even though it is a child’s drawing, after being converted into a cross pattern, the resulting pattern is no less beautiful. You can download these patterns for free in this article. Curious how children’s drawings turn into beautiful cross stitch  patterns. Come on, let’s go straight to the first vehicle.

CAR CROSS STITCH PATTERN

The first pattern design is a pink car driving across two hills during the day. At the top of the car there are two clouds and a sun. You can see the image below.

This car cross stitch pattern consists of seven colors. The hills use two different shades of green. Clouds use blue. The sun uses yellow. Meanwhile, three colors are used for cars, namely pink, light blue and gray. You can download the pattern for free. The pattern format you save is .jpg.

PLANE CROSS STITCH PATTERN

The second image I will share is a plane. The design is a plane that flies through three clouds and the sun as in the picture below.

To make this plane cross stitch you have to prepare 5 colors of thread. Clouds use blue. The sun uses yellow. The fuselage uses three colors, namely pink, gray and blue. The blue color used by the windows is different from the blue color of the clouds.

TRAIN CROSS STITCH PATTERN

Next, the third image is a train. The design is a train that passes through the hills. Like the previous picture, this time there are also clouds and sun. However, the sun in the image below is between the hills and is not round like the previous two patterns.

Train

This train pattern consists of 9 colors. The hills use two different shades of green. Clouds use blue. The sun uses yellow and orange colors. The train uses 4 colors, namely pink, purple, blue and grey.

You can download the pattern for free below. The pattern you save is in .jpg format.

SHIP CROSS STITCH PATTERN

The final image in a series of vehicle created by my nephew is a ship. The design is of a ship passing through the ocean with clouds and the sun above it. In the third pattern the position of the sun is peeking out from behind the hill, while in this image the position of the sun is between the clouds.

ship

There are seven threads that you need to prepare to make this ship cross stitch. Yellow is for the sun. Pink for the ship’s body. Gray for smoke. Three different shades of blue for the clouds, porthole and sea water. Get this ship pattern for free by clicking the button below.

The four vehicle cross stitch patterns above have the same theme even though they operate in different areas. The similarity can be seen from the choice of pink and blue, where pink was chosen for the vehicle body while blue was chosen for the windows.

Apart from being the same color, the four images also have clouds and the sun. Many children drew clouds and the sun, including our nephew.

What do you think about cross stitch patterns made from children’s drawings? Isn’t that great?

On this blog you can also find other patterns that we made. For those of you who like ice cream, you can download the pattern for free here. Meanwhile, for those of you who like roses, please download the 2nd edition for free here.
